About

Refereeing for Peace, is a not-for-profit venture that tries to use the coaching of refereeing as a development tool for young, particularly indigenous Fijian male youths. Starting off with rugby refereeing, youths have been targeted from urban areas with high unemployment and high crime rates, as well as a rehabilitation programme running in a minimum security prison on the outskirts of Fiji's capital Suva.
